Genesis 6 stated the size of Noah's ark as:
Length = 300 cubits; Width = 50 cubits; Height = 30 cubits. This was about the size and shape of a modern oil super tanker. According to the Book of Jasher (6:2-3;10), God inspired selected animals to arrive at and board the ark. He also inspired wild animals to surround the ark, thus preventing people from boarding the ark once rain poured down. This act was necessary to safeguard success of Noah's mission (Jasher 6:24-25).
