This is another of Nero Wolfe's World War II capers in which he exposes a murderer,
despite being compelled to leave his home to solve the case. Archie Goodwin
stubs his toe trying to cozy up to a luscious female suspect, but eventually learns of her connection in a wartime industrial espionage deal. Wolfe assists the
murderer in committing suicide with a grenade in Van Cortland Park.
