Refers to Apep, the ancient Egyptian god of chaos and darkness. Name of an asteroid noted in 2004 AD that is expected to collide with earth on 13 April 2029 AD. NASA named it "Wormwood", which is mentioned in the New Testament (Revelation 8:11) as the "star" that will destroy much of the water and people prior to return of Jesus Christ.
