Fruit/Jello Parfait

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Chocolate Slivers
  2. Chopped Almonds
  3. Coconut Flakes
  4. FRUIT: Apple Chunks; 1/2 Banana Cut in Chunks; Cherry Slices; Grapes - Sliced in Half; Strawberry Slices
  5. Fruit Jam/Jelly (1 tsp. each of four flavors)
  6. Jello (4 Flavors/Colors: Blueberry/Blue; Lemon/Yellow; Lime/Green; Cherry/Red)
  7. Whip Cream
METHOD:

      Prepare jello and place fruit in each color (banana chunks in yellow; raspberries in blue; strawberries in red; apple chunks or grape slices in green). Chill in refrigerator. When ready to insert in parfait glasses, remove from refrigerator and cut into cubes.
      In a parfait glass, place alternating layer of the following items:
- jam and fruit bits
- jello cubes (start with whatever color you desire)
- whip cream
      Repeat process with the other three colors. Mound whip cream on top. Decorate with a cherry on top. Sprinkle with coconut, almonds and chocolate slivers. Chill until ready to serve. Best served soon after making these parfaits.

OPTION:
      Replace whip cream between each layer of jello with a small amount of vanilla ice cream. Keep a small amount of whip cream on top of the parfait.
