Story Synopsis:
      The famous Hawthorne sisters hire Nero Wolfe to investigate a will but he must solve a double murder as part of the job. Moreover, his vanity is pricked into assisting the U.S. Secretary of State; he even leaves his home to solve the murders. Archie Goodwin is angered when Wolfe skedaddles for home and dinner after Karn's body is discovered.
